Swagat Indian Cuisine

This place is very good. I'm going there tonight actually. We live in the neighborhood and haven't found a better Indian restaurant than Swagat. I sat and talked with the owner a few days ago, very nice man, takes humble pride in his restaurant. Very nice people. Also, they have almond soap in the bathroom. Best smelling soap in NYC! There could be a little more in the way of ambiance. A bit plain is all. Dark red walls, with exposed brick where 3 or 4 small framed prints hang at seemingly random heights. That said, I couldn't count the number of times I've been back here. Very tastey! Extensive vegetarian options too.
