If you can’t get a reservation at Nobu, you may be able to squeeze into this addition that serves on a first-come-first-served basis. Next Door Nobu features a sleek, clean-lined décor, a raw bar, a sushi bar and a saké bar, plus a variety of noodles and tempura and some of Nobu’s signature dishes, like the Arctic char with crispy baby spinach or the New Zealand mussels. The menus are similar, but Next Door’s isn’t as extravagant and doesn’t feature the famed omakase chef’s choice menu. It serves until midnight during the week and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
