L'Express

During the day I know it has it's detractors; however, it's open 24-7-365 and in the middle of the night when the staff aren't beseiged (the place is almost empty) it takes on a Hopper-esque quality of eerie calm and excellent people watching. With a quieter kitchen the food arrives more punctually too, and it's pretty good for the money (when it's hot). Stay away from the tourist day crowds and go for a post-bar/club 2am steak frites; the best way to end a night out on the town.
