Francisco Centro Vasco is by far the BEST Spanish seafood restaurant I have ever had the joy to dine in. Starting with the simple yet delicious house salad that entices you to refill your salad plate more than once (this I can guarantee you will do). Don't over do it though, you don't want to fill up before ordering one of the many appetizer’s they offer. My personal favorite is the Escargot. Something I never thought I would eat let alone love. The Escargot practically melts in your mouth. With the taste of garlic and butter you cant' help but dip your warm bread in the sauce to soak up as much of this mouth watering taste as you can. Your palate will be in heaven. Next up on my plate is the Broiled 2'lb Lobster. It is the ideal size, and always done to perfection. Never rough and always mouth watering it is also served with a potato and saffron rice. I am very particular in how I eat my lobster. In order to savor its mouth watering taste I ask for extra, extra lemon and squeeeeze it onto the lobster itself but, I also squeeze plenty of lemon right into the hot melted butter. When I dip my lobster in that awesome buttery yet tart taste of butter my mouth is instantly in ecstacy. The lobster is sooo succulent that my eyes roll to the back of my head after every bite. I honestly don't always have the time to enjoy the rice or anything else on my plate because I can not tear my self away from the art of eating and savoring my lobster. I have moved from New York and now reside in sunny Florida; however, whenever I get to New York I make a mad dash to my favorite place Francisco Centro Vasco. Some coworkers of mine will be making a family trip to NY in September and they will be dining at Francisco Centro Vasco based on my description of the fine dining. I can't wait to hear what they think of this restaurant. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they will love this restaurant too.
