Edward's
our comments
Edward's---once a spin-off of famed brasserie Odeon---is a cozy TriBeCa spot that is much more traditional in its brasserie décor than its menu. Bedecked with mirrors on both sides of the long narrow room, a sturdy wooden bar and a cozy banquette, Edward's attracts a steady stream of neighborhood regulars who keep returning for the adventurous food items. The ginger-crusted tuna, served best seared, melts when it hits the palette. Much more conventional, the steak frites will satisfy even the most diehard Parisian eater.- April 2005
