first time to this wonderful old charm Italiano Cusine. The Shrimp Marinara, baked clams and special of the day-sole -was so fresh and delicious. Service was exceptional and the house wine tasted just like my relatives's home made recipe. The family style servings and the best canoli I ever had, made this dining experience more than I expected! Can't wait to come again.

The BEST southern Italian food in New York

Baked Clams are out of this world

Pasta with clam sauce is wonderful.

The chicken scap. with sausages is cooked to perfection.

Forget about the wait on week-ends, the food makes up for it.

Possibly the BEST Southern Italian food in New York

Chef's John & Milo along with their pasta and chicken man turn out the most consistant dishes day in and day out.

Try the pasta with white clam sause and add an order of shrimp. The chicken and egg plant is outstanding.

Bring plenty of cash and enjoy the house red wine served cold!

No better place to go.

Some places you go to dine and others to eat. Don Peppe is the later and a true old school Italian restaurant. Chef's John, Milo and Ed are the backbone of this Ozone Park institution. 41 years at this location - These guys get it done and do it day in and day out.

The food always exceptional. Truly no better Italian restaurant.

Only one draw back - Their closed on Mondays. You won’t be disappointed.

Recommended dishes – Baked Claims, Linguine and White Clam Sauce, Linguine with shrimp Luciano, Chicken and Eggplant, Veal Don Peppe, Chicken Don Peppe, Stuffed Artichoke, Ziti with Prochutto, Chicken Scaperello, Mozzarella and Roasted peppers, Stuffed Mushrooms, Veal/Chicken Lemon and butter

Simply the best. The menu is family style so it is best to go with a group. White claim, calamari & shrimp marinara, baked clams, veal don peppe - all excellent. Service depends on who you get, but the food is so good you won't be dissapointed.
