our comments

Converted from a furniture showroom, Caviar Russe is a luxurious and romantic little spot with glittering chandeliers, a robin’s egg-blue ceiling and Russian murals. Guests indulge in caviar, caviar and more caviar. There is also other decadent, celebratory fare including smoked salmon and blini, duck confit with foie gras, Maine lobster and tartare of sirloin of steak---each available with a dollop or two of caviar upon request. And to wash it all down there’s plenty of vodka and Champagne. The bar also functions as a retail shop, purveying several varieties of excellent Caspian caviar.
