Carnegie Deli

Took grand daughter there and thought the service was diabolical. The waiter we had ignored us for some time prefering to fussing around men customers who presumably went there on a regular basis, before approaching us. Our meal was then dumped down in front of us without a word, and hastily retreated. We completed our meal and sat for some time with him standing in front of the counter ignoring our signal for a desert, which we then decided to give up on the idea. However, he soon appeared when we vacated the table even opening his palm after we had paid the tab. With that I shook his hand and said that I will not be paying for a service that we did not get, and said goodbye. He even followed us out of the deli and harrased us for his tip. If only he was that efficient on serving us-his loss.I said Goodbye and meant it.
