“A chef-driven steakhouse” - is how Chef Waldy Malouf describes his spectacular new restaurant/bar/bakery. Beacon is imbued with a feeling of camaraderie, energy and hospitality; a generosity of spirit that starts in the kitchen and resonates throughout the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this restaurant - was ages ago that I went, and I had this rather freaky-sounding garlic and egg soup, which was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. Also a great steak, cooked exactly how I wanted it.

Service was good, not sucky, prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality of the food.

When I was there it also seemed to be largely populated by actors, which added a little entertainment factor.
