your comments review this restaurant
dimly lit, atmospheric, bordering on romantic. possibly good for a date or an intimate dinner a deux?
food is well executed, though not as creative as some new yorkers have come to expect. is there a menu without an heirloom tomato salad on it at the moment?
chocolate peanut butter tart with a whiskey vanilla shake went down really well with my girlfriend, but the goats cheesecake was a little strange. i'm never going to be a fan of olive oil ice-cream either.
it's not a cheap thrill, either, but i realise i'm starting to sound negative. the food is certainly worth its Michelin star and perfect if you're not into fussy foams and tiny food on massive plates.
I'd go back, if there weren't so many other places to try.
