Head chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has had a very prestigious career in the culinary arts and his restaurant Jean-Georges is the culmination of all his previous menus. With a kind of mixture between French and Asian cuisine, the menu at Jean-Georges is full of imaginative and offbeat courses. There is also a café called Nougatine attached to the restaurant with similar fare and a cheaper price tag. Just don’t expect to receive the same stellar treatment as you would in the main restaurant.- November 2004

...the food and ambiance were nothing short of spectacular...our Captain?..we think may have left his personality at home this night...might want to crack a smile of warmth every once and awhile...his assistant for the evening however, made up for it (we believe her name was Erin)- she was a breath of fresh air for this four star dining experience...she enjoyed serving as much as we did receiving...
